    The temperature of Mandalay is quite hot most of the time of the year and during the rainy season there is heavy water pouring. The most favorable time to visit Maha Muni or the Great Saga pagoda in Mandalay is during the winter seasons from the month of October up to the month of February.

    Opening timings

    The pagoda is kept open from the sunrise to sunset for the pilgrims to visits. If you don’t want to visit the pagoda with too much people around you, avoid going to The Maha Muni Pagoda on public holidays as well as on Sundays and Saturdays.
